Thursday Night Fever

Nostalgia

I finally caught Mr Bean's Holiday Movie on Tuesday with Andrea. I felt the movie was great. Although some parts of the movie were pretty dry, it just brought back nostalgic feelings of what Mr Bean is about. Well thats for me anyways because I grew up watching Mr Bean, and even though they keep showing the re-runs, I throughly enjoy every episode.

Mr Bean's pretty much slap-stick comedy. Not everyone enjoys laughing at someones stupidity and antics. But Mr Bean to me is more than just slap-stick. It really sort of gives a light-hearted glimpse of what life would be like if you were incredibly shy and if you try to live a life without friends. Hahaha

I find watching Rowan Atkinson going around with a teddy bear and constantly landing himself in trouble pretty enjoyable. Most of all it just brings back childhood memories of watching Mr Bean on my old VCR with my mother feeding me lunch from coming home from school. Mr Bean has a special place in my <3 LOL!!

For the rest of you, Mr Bean's Holidays a pretty decent comedy movie and I would give it a 3 out of 5. Hahahaha



Anyways my date with andrea was great! We started off with brunch at Subway, which we both had a hard time eating. The people who worked at Subway Cineleisure were noobs!! They rendered my "full every veggy in the world" sandwich difficult to eat when veggys kept falling out of my sandwich :( It was also quite funny watching poor andrea having a hard time eating that sandwich. LOL!!!!

After the movie we went around looking for a bag. Andrea needed a new one because the bags she has have fallen out of favour, and she needed a backpack that would be able to carry her new laptop. In the end she bought like a sling bag. I told her she was better off buying a proper laptop bag, since she had a pretty high budget. Hahaha

We then went off to eat like Taiwanese Crepe and clam chowder, which I was craving for to like soothe my cough. Crepe's kinda like this thing thats kinda like a combination of Prata and Popiah. Itz nice! I like! Hahaha. Food Food Food! Being with andrea makes me harpeee and wounder! MUACK* I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH ANDWEA!! LOL!!

After that we walked around town and ended up at Pacific Plaza taking cool pictures to kill time because I was meeting Dexian and Xy for dinner at 7pm.

Ever since I got free 1 year cable, MTV and cable channels have been perpetually killing my braincells. I find my self liking bubble gum pop and hippity hoppity. Even friggin' Disney Channel corrupts my mind with High School Musical and Hannah Montana. I think I might become a twit someday O.O Hahahaha

Maybe the next cool would be whats twit today since twits and wannabes are trying to outdo each other in knowing more obscure bands or singers, rendering whats twit today
cool tomorrow. Hahaha

So once in a while I manage to beat the mental and physical restraint of sitting in front of the telly with MTV switched on, and retreat to my computer for some real music like psychedelic rock, disco funk and "chillout" acid jazz whatever as you will.

Last weekend went pretty well. Went for Deafcon at DXO on Saturday to watch 80s glam-rock Bad Obsession perform and catch up on some secondary school mates. We had a rad time moshing and drinking Jonny-Walker concoctions with Sprite, Coke and Giger Beer. Hahaha

Got a little traLalala after that. Andrea drank a cup full as well and I must say that getting kissed when you're tralala feels oh so good <3 Hahaha!

Anyways I got to know whats on the low-down with my secondary school mates. Cheryl and Arid are going through the typical couple trouble from after the 6 - 12 month "honeymoon" period. Nigel's being an ass in school with Kenny.. Yes Kenny getting owned by teachers and such. Hahaha! What is it with JC, MI kids and being fit and healthy? Blah blah-be-dee-Blah Blah Marlakee about NS.. HAHAHAHA!

But it really made me remember the fun times we had together hanging out in the past and it brought back lots of memories <3 :)

We went to Arab street to have egyptian/turkish/middle-eastern food. It was great. Like less than $10 for Lamb Chops? Ownz \m/ We also went to Pluck. They have really great alcoholic ice creams and very cosy comfortable enviroment to like sit in, chill, read, play, kiss, dance, sleep, wank.. do whatever you will at. Great Place :) Hahahahaa!!

Spent my Sunday downloading more torrents. I think torrents are pretty bad especially game torrents. Like after downloading a game, you feel really tempted to download another and another, even without playing the downloaded game. Haha

On Monday I accompanied Andrea down to SP to register for school. Registration this years is a total fuck up waste of time. Upon entering the registration SP union members take you on a "waste your time" compulsory tour of SP's clubs and CCAs coaxing you to join fucked up pretty much useless orientation camps. OK well I'm just sour because I'm not a big fan of camps lah so join if you like camping indoors and sleeping in sports halls and facilities. Hahahaha!

Now the tour lasts for about 3 hours before FINALLY you give them the all important slip of paper and thats it! Hahaha! But anyways I had fun pretending to be a first year (second years, parents and others aren't allowed on the tour), beating important registering forms and heading through bumps as I encountered DMC course mates along the way as facilitators. Somehow every club we went to people directly asked me if I wanted to join their orientation camps. I'm from SP yet I know nuts about anything about school or clubs or ccas. School spirit. Hahaha!!

But I had a great time with Andrea and her friends. They're pretty fun people. It just goes to show that hot gossips, twits, sex and music aren't the only topics of discussion that are fun. Haha!

Today I just got back from my date with Andrea and like dinner with Dexian and Xy the bear. We originally wanted to have Botak Jones at Clementi, but upon being OWNED by the long lines we bus-ed off to Al-Ameen at Bukit Timah. The food's pretty good. I went for the Naan and Masala combo which was very filling.

We also ranted nonsense from weird accents to random sexual jokes to secret plans to diss people we hate and, Jurongville memories of Laqiah.

Piracy Kills (Hopes)

My long wait for Test Drive Ultimate hit a gigantic brick wall, spun out of control and set ablaze when the 3.5Gb file which took 3 days to get didn't work! :( It just shows piracy kills hopes and we shouldn't depend on them.

I swear I'm going to get an original copy of Test Drive Ultimate(maybe..haha!). It looked fuckin' awesome on the xbox 360 it beats Need For Speed Carbon pants Down. Need for Speed Carbon in my opinion was one of the worst in the Need For Speed series. EA did an awesome job with Most Wanted and they just had to screw it all up with Carbon. Haha!

Carbon felt like Underground 2 (The Worst in Series), except with "exciting" police chases which was an incredibly turned down a gazillion notches compared to like the chases in Most Wanted :(

Anyways Test Drive Ultimate looks like a great game :)

Anyways, I've not updated my blog earlier because I fell under the weather after the beach outing with andrea on tuesday. We arrived at 10 and we were ready for some fun in the sun! Sadly it started to rain and I was pretty much more exposed to the rain as I tried to get out of the rain.

So we retreated under a tent and we started drawing hearts in the sand while waiting for the rain to stop. When it did we finally took a dip in the water and just spent an hour or two floating by the beach like two coconuts, drinking salt water and near drowning events at the same time. Andrea can't swim so it was pretty difficult. Hahaha! But it was really fun and we had a blast..until the ah bengs came along and we decided to leave for vivo city. Haha! Yes Andrea I would love to go to the beach with you soon! :) hahaha!

Andrea finally got the dress she wanted so badly on Tuesday too! But it wasn't easy. The outlet at Vivo City didn't have one her size so we went all the way to Marina Square to get it. We then ended the day by having a cup of Java Chip at our favorite Fullerton outlet while eavesdropping on some hairy china girls nearby. Hahaha!

When I got home I felt really sick and I realized how badly I owned myself. I was already not feeling well from the rain and swimming and I drank a cup of sweet milk tea and Java Chip. Since that day I've sworn to no other liquids but tap water. Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow so I can head out to get Andrea's anniversary presents! LOVE <3 Haha

Emo the new Fag

Being Emo is the most coolest thing now to hit Singapore. Yes, disgustingly itchy red scars on your arms, eyeliner that hurts your eyes and piercings to the lip that will render you to porridge for the rest of your life (if you're lucky to get an infection), is the most innest thing to do if your a teenager.

Emo is the new fad, I mean fag in Singapore. No no I'm not going to go out dissing people who like emo music and what not. I'm just out here to do justice to the fags, and faggerets that take it too far. hahaha!

Personally I actually do like listening to emo - rock, punk, pop, disco, screamo, classical whatever. In fact I would like to own up that I've got 4 Emo band tshirts which I bought from Image 2001 (all you asswipes from fake-ass thailand print peninsula plaza "get rich or die tryyin'" - 50 Cent), in the year 2004.

Thats like 3 years ago! But only now are we seeing a generation of ah lianz, bengz, door MATs, and mynahs getting on the Emo band wagon.

Although I use most of my emo shirts to mop the floor and wear it when I go to the wet market, it just irritated me how something has to be on mainstream media to be liked by everyone. Just show you "eMo-KiDzZz" that you bozoes are nothing but mind-controlled robots manipulated by the media. Haha! The manipulating job will be passed down to me once I start work in the media industry. I'll get everyone to go oldschool banana leaf just like the good old days.

But really the icing on the cake to irritate me was an article about Emo people in the Home section of The Straits Times. If it was in the Life section ok I can understand. The Home section is for REAL news. The reason why Emo people cut themsleves up is because they gay and dumb enough to think its cool and its all part of emo "culture". Also its because theyre bored from not talking to anyone or keeping still because theyre emo. Whatever happened to the basic Chinese, Malay, Indian and Others, cultures? Hahahaha!

This has also lead to a sudden surge in incredibly bad online poetry, terrible photography with cave-men "editing", emo-MAT bands with bad bad diction and fake US and A slangs and doctors wasting time entertaining EmOkIdS who cut up too much, when they could be saving people with cancer.

Did you "eMo-KiDzZ" know that in the US and A, like being Emo is like telling everyone you're retarded. hahahahaha!



Like whatever genre of music you want and dress whichever way you please. I'm not saying its bad to wear too tight tshirts and have long hair that covers your eyes. Its fine. The thing is just don't do stupid stuff because you think its cool, which will in-turn irritate people like me. Don't glorify you're poetry if you suck at it, stop claiming to be photographers and graphic designers (because to you guys its an EMO thing), stop pretending to be intelligent, when you've got the mental capacity of a pot of petunias, and stop thinking you're so cool because you know the the "rock symbol \m/" and you listen to my chemical romance. Hahaha!

I went to vivocity for a shopping trip with andrea today and I really had a blast spending time with my dweawest dweawest even though it was rather uncomfortable walking around Singapore's biggest shopping mall in flip-flops. So we went around looking for clothes for andrea because she needs to stock up her wardrobe for poly.

At the end of the day she was disappointed she came home empty handed. We just didn't find anything suitable for her. ): But don't be sad andwea!! When the new line of nice nice clothes you saw on the websites come in we'll go try em on again yah? I mean, you'll go try em on. Not to mention the good food at vivocity. FOOD!! LETS GET ROUNDER! hahahahaha!

I can proudly say that I've gone to every nook and cranny of the mall, so I guess its an achievement from all the hype over the size of the mall. Honestly its not that big lah. hahaha

I really really had a blast spending time with andrea yesterday. I was really happy I got to see her because I missed her so badly over the weekend and she's not been feeling too happy these past couple of days. :(

Andrea had to settle like the necessary administration stuff that is require when registering for poly, and being the bubbly, easily excited, worried girl she is, she
enrolled online too early the allocated time she was given. I don't think anything bad will come out of that but she got real worried and upset. ): Then came the very troublesome medical checkups where she had to go through long waits and irrelevant trips to the clinic, which made her really frustrated and upset.

I guess when it comes to some things, andrea isnt as patient and light-hearted as I am. So I tried to make her feel better and trying to cheer her up, but it didn't really work ): Now she's worried over a urine test which didn't pass for some reason. I'm really hoping for the best that its just because of dehydration. Maybe she got real excited and pumped up over the test? It can't be of some health reason like diabetes or something. If it was, the nurse would have said so and stuff. Sometimes I really feel sorry for her because she gets too excited and worried over something. Shes like a little cutez adowawable girl!! LOL!! Shes really very poor thing!! mmm! ): cheer up ok dwear? HUGGS* <3

Sometimes I feel really useless because no matter how much I try to cheer her up, it just doesn't work ): but I'll keep trying and trying and trying andrea. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! :( MUACK* LOL!!

Anyways we went to the library at Jurong East to read books and stuff. We do that once in a while. Its great fun like sitting down and reading big big picture books together. Haha!

So yesterday, I learned how to make a delicious Bellini Champagne cocktail to bring to Kuta beach on our trip at Bali, and also learn what species of venomeous sea snakes to avoid, all from reading 3 books we took. Haha!

I am really regretting the cake I ate just now. No not because it tasted bad or anything. I just kinda dropped it on the kitchen floor when I took it out of the fridge. I felt real sorry for the cake so I washed the side of the cake which fell, when I could have simply sliced away the fallen side. I just didn't think about it.

Now I'm feeling real sick! Like theres this wierd-ass feeling in my throat. I hope it goes away :(

Red-necks are like the biggest retards on the face of the Earth. I really feel like my mom is just like pushing all the work to me. She treats me like as if I'm the biggest slacker in the house when I help her on a daily basis with chores and what not. Haha! Moving on, I had lots of fun hanging out with Nadjmi on Monday. We were supposed to go shopping but I realized that it would be way to early to get what I wanted to get. So anyways we just took a random idea and decided to head to Lot 1 in search of the much fabled, X-square. Haha!

Ok not really lah. X-square at Dhoby Ghaut was like the place to go for hangouts with your mates when you have no idea what to do. But early last year it got replaced by some Maple Story shit LAN shop. I had lots and lots of fun with Nadjmi.

It brings me back to Jurongville days. Nadjmi is a really good friend too. Like he walks me home and stuff just to catch up with me for all the times we were busy! Nadjmi will be my BFF forever :) He'll be one of the firsts to get my wedding invitation. hahaha!

What the fuck is up with maple story anyways? I mean fine I can understand like the draw of MMORPG(Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) Games. But come on!

Maple Story was invented by a couple of Korean guys, and from there, we all know the appeal of Korean stuff to the mainstream Chinese population, it just becomes so over-ratedly popular.

Well, Maple Story has players defend the "Maple World" from monsters and develop their character's skills and abilities, as in typical role-playing games. Players can interact with others in many ways, such as through chatting, trading, and playing minigames. Groups of players can band together in parties to hunt monsters and share the rewards. Players can also band in a guild to interact more easily with each other.

Sounds awesome :) OK I WANNA PLAY! Oh but wait! Did I tell you the part where it gets players to head down to 7/11 to get these ridiculous game cards which are used as game money in the real world? Then you could buy that kick-ass 2-D excalibur to pwn-age those monsters!! Then maybe that guild of TEN-YEAR-OLDS would let me join them!

You know what I mean? Retarded lah. Not only is it stupid, but playing it would render you to a state of spending hundreds of dollars on fake weapons and spells and potions, all while embracing its wonderful windows 95 era 2-D graphics.

I'm not saying I'm against MMORPGs. If I could, I'd be playing WoW (World Of Warcraft) and stuff now. Just don't waste your time on over-rated games :)

hahaha! Had my anniversary outing today and it was a blast! We watched epic movie! I think I'd give it a rating of 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. haha! I think lots of people gave it bad reviews because most didn't understand the jokes and stuff.

I guess you've really got to watch lots of MTV and stuff to actually get it. And also to be a light hearted "lame-ass" individual like myself. Haha! But I at the end of the movie it was like, "thats it?" because it didn't really have much detail in each of the spoofs, rather it just tried to spoof as many movies (and tv shows) as they could. hahaha



On the whole today was great. Good company, good food, lots of love <3 :) I love you soo much andrea! MUACK* hahaha

I think I am the luckiest guy on earth. Haha! Tommorow would be me and andrea's 1 year 11 month-th anniversary! Whats more exciting would be our 2nd year anniversary this coming april 3rd! I would be totally pwnaging my parents because they only dated 2 years and then they got married. It just feels really awesome. Haha!

Sometimes I wake up in the morning and its really hard to believe that I've been with andrea for this long. No I'm not saying its a drag or anything. Fact is most adolescent relationships don't last very long. Mostly its because of immaturity and more emphasis on physical attraction than whats beyond that beautiful body or pretty face.

Of course physical attraction is the first thing that strikes someone in love. Thats why most people call the first 6 months to a year, the "honeymoon" period, a time which couples are all lovey dovey, only to reach a fallout after that realizing what a bad kisser he or she is.

Andrea and I on the other hand have still managed to keep that lovey dovey relationship intact. I think one of the reasons why its because we are able to look beyond our physical looks and stuff. We still talk to each other on the phone every night and always look forward to our dates to share hot gossips, talk about our problems or talk about just about anything in the world.

Enjoying the simple things in life with your loved one and not focusing much on physical and material stuff in a relationship is important as well. You don't need to find a good movie to watch or something to do to have a good date. Just enjoying each others company, sharing a hot cup of coffee and while looking out across beautiful scenery really enhances your date and relationship because its without all the distractions, allowing you to focus just on your love. :)

I think being with andrea and vice versa has changed us for the better. I think one really hilarious thing was that ever since andrea and I got together we've been steadily gaining weight. hahaha! I guess its a sign of how happy we are together <3

I wonder what it'll be like in the year 030415. I can only say that I am really excited and looking forward to living the rest of my life with andrea :)

Hello! Like aza's back after a long ass hiatus from blogging. I decided to get back into blogging because well its the term break and basically I've not much to do. Also I am starting off fresh from http://robokaboom.blogspot.com, after spammers spammed my chat box thing, not that I give a damn. And also because my mom kept poking around my blog hahaha!

Well so much has happened since July 2006, when I abruptly ended my blog. Me and Andrea have been together for almost 1 year 11 months now and coming 3rd April 2007 it would be our 2 year anniversary! haha! Im still crazy about her as I was the first day I met her :P I kinda hopes she still feels the same way about me :( Honestly its a little difficult to tell. But I try to keep a very positive mind. Hopefully its just me having moments of paranoia. MUACK* I wove you soooo much!!! <3 <3 <3 LOL!!

Besides that the school year ended of in a positive note. I got together with my classmate Terence and basically we mugged like crazy for our exams. Its was my first in a long long time, actually sitting down with someone and actually you know.. studying. Yeah so I am pretty confident about my results. I don't think I can say the same for my other friends. I tried my best to help :( LOL!!

Also, during the hiatus I kinda found out more about a possible emergence of another LAQIAH in my class :O Who could forget laqiah? the big ass poser "catholic" mat rocker wanna-be from Jurongville who earned the "Most Hated in School Award". LOL

I didn't manage to catch up with my secondary school best mates though :( its really really sad. The only person that I really really communicate with and stuff would be Nadjmi. :) Nadjmi's my BFF forever. He'd always be there for me when I have problems or I need some Warcraft online playing on those bored afternoons and when I need company for lunch or dinner. hahahahaha!

Ok so I think since I've not caught up with my secondary school mates I'll make some predictions. Wee Jie just turned 18 last Saturday so Happy Birthday and congratulations you'd be buying us booze. Oh Wee Jie turned from a geeky secondary school nobody (hey man I would call myself a geeky secondary school nobody too haha!), into Innova JC's biggest P.I.M.P! hahahahah

Next up would be Dexian. Haha! Did I mention he acted for my short film project? haha Thanks mate! Anyways I'm thinking his hair's probably longer than ever right now. He appeared in a hilarious hair commercial on YouTube. Awesome shit. hahaha




I don't know about Cheryl. I am kinda wondering if things are still okie dokie with Arid? haha! Some friend I am hurhh? I've not visited her blog, http://drugsinaphotobooth.blogspot.com in a while. I guess I should and find out whats been happening. haha!

Lastly Nigel. The last time I heard from him was baybeats 2006. He finally achieved his wildest fantasy of playing for a school football team, which he wasn't allowed by his daddy in secondary school because soccer is a "malay" sport. haha I think hes now like the vice captain or captain or whatever in the team at Innova. And he's got pretty hot lady friends too so I guess hes having the time of his life hahahaha!
